	Luftwaffe confidencial by Daniel Uhr and Claudio Lamas. link A few words from Daniel: Well, Lutwaffe Confidencial is a book that I wrote with a friend (Claudio Lamas) and it is about German design development in the aeronautical area between 1939 and 1945. The main idea of the book is not only to show the Germans projects developed between this period, but related them to the main changes in the aeronautical design and it's reflection up to now in the civil and military area among other area. Some of the subjects written In the book: swept wing, swept back wings, growing wings, tailless, V tail (butterfly tail), T tail, parasite airplanes, vtol, flying wings,... Doing it we show that there are not too many new things in the air. - As the USA used to say few years ago with the B2 showing it the first flying jet wing to fly, in fact they were not - German did it 60 years ago through Horten's brothers with the 229. In parallel we show that this technology development run, was not a German exclusivity. The British, Americans, Russians, French,... run in it as well and we show and point it in the book (e.g. Coleoptere) It is also a none political book. It's only about research and development.

	Tupolev SB Bilingual publication English / French.  The conclusion, reached about about Tupolev SB ( ANT-40) in 1935 by the intelligence service of the French Air Force, that the machine was merely a poor copy of the Glenn-Martin 139W was incredible and ridiculous. It seriously underestimated both the ingenuity and know-how of the Soviet aircraft industry. At the time of its entry into service in 1936, the Tupolev SB was extremely modern ; being an unparalleled example of the "fast bomber concept" with its high speed protecting it from interception. It was as revolutionary as the Polikarpov I-16 fighter, alongside which it received its baptism of fire in the Spanish Civil War where it earned the affectionate nickname Katyusha. During the Great Patriotic War, bearing the red star, it served on all fronts. It was built under license in Czechoslovakia by the Avia company as the B-71, wearing Czechoslovak and Bulgarian colours and eventually even the "Balkenkreuz". It served in China against Japanese forces and it flew for Finland during the continuation war carrying the blue swastika.The Tupolev SB well deserves this long overdue book. The genesis of the aircraft and its ubsequent development are the objects of a particularly detailed chapter, as is its service under all the nations for which it flew. Of particular note are the extracts from reports by General Piotr Stepanovsky. This edition by TMA publications, is a collective work under the guidance of José Fernandez, with information being lucidly and soberly presented. The high quality reproduction of the many photographs deserves particular mention. Furthermore classic 3-view drawings in 1/72 scale and the 24 pages of colour-profiles in colour display the detail differences of the various Soviet versions and those of the of B-71 built by Avia, as do the many period photographs. This long awaited and very complete work from TMA will allow enthusiasts to (re)discover every aspect of the aircraft. Ph. Ballarini / G.
